CAN WE LOSE THE WEIGHT IN WINTER WITH DETOX?
When it comes to detox, many people think of practices that last for a few days, mainly based on fruit or vegetable juice. Vitamins A, C and E, which act as antioxidants, contained in regularly consumed seasonal fruits and vegetables, strengthen the immune system by increasing body resistance and protect us against diseases.
- Eat a diet rich in selenium, magnesium and zinc: Containing antioxidant minerals; You should prefer foods such as eggs, seafood, mushrooms, garlic, legumes, avocado, banana, green leafy vegetables, chicken, turkey, lean meat in your diet.
- Add fermented foods such as yogurt, kefir, kombucha to your diet: The probiotics you add to your adequate and balanced diet plan support your immune system.
- Increase the amount of fiber taken daily: Increasing the amount of fiber taken daily is important to fight the digestive system disorders that occur with the arrival of spring. You can increase the amount of fiber you take daily by adding whole wheat, bran, rye bread or whole wheat pasta, salad and vegetables, fruits to your diet.
- Pay attention to your water consumption: 8-12 glasses of water should be drunk daily to remove the toxins taken from the body.
- Move more: With the warming of the weather, we can increase our physical activity by making small changes in our daily lives. Some of these changes are; walking for short distances by using less public transport and vehicles, or walking at a light pace after work when the weather gets better.
